STUDIO PHILOSOPHY

After starting my career at the tender age of two-years-old —auditioning, performing, writing, directing, casting, and guiding others—I’ve come to believe one essential truth: you already have everything you need.

After spending years (and lots of money) in acting classes where instructors seemed more focused on sanding down people’s uniqueness rather than nurturing it, I realized turning everyone into a cookie-cutter version of “the character” was not only ineffective—it was counterproductive. I wasn't getting callbacks, and I certainly wasn't booking jobs.

What I was really looking for was a class that didn’t try to change me, that actually embraced individuality—and, while we’re at it, maybe one that also taught me how to book a job. Cody Coaches exists to offer the kind of guidance I craved: practical, honest, and a little irreverent. Because let’s face it—this business is wild, and you deserve support that helps you navigate it without losing what makes you… you.
The magic in great acting isn't about transforming into something foreign—it's about drawing from the deepest parts of yourself to tell the truth in imaginary circumstances. The most compelling actors aren’t hiding behind technique—they’re revealing something personal, honest, and raw.

I believe your quirks, your instincts, your contradictions—those are not obstacles; they’re your gold. We use imagination, sense memory, emotional triggers, and improvisation not to create masks, but to unlock doors within you. Our goal isn’t to fit into a mold. It’s to shatter the mold and show casting directors an artist who is not only capable, but unforgettable.

Auditions shouldn’t be about proving yourself, or showing people what you think they want. They are about owning the room. That’s where confidence lives—in the knowing that you are enough. When you walk into a room grounded in your truth, when you bring the full weight of your experience and emotional life to the work, you become the kind of actor people can't look away from.

This is more than a technique. It’s a way of working, a way of being. I’m here to guide you toward your fullest expression as an actor and artist. Because your truth is your superpower—and the world needs to see it.
